BudgetRepo

What it is

BudgetRepo is the planned financial layer of the OrbisRepo ecosystem: open public financial information from public organisations, across countries and levels of government — not only national or municipal budgets.

What it does

• Will cover budgets, accounts, contributions, subsidies, levies and financial reporting from international bodies, national governments, regions, municipalities, functional authorities and public institutions.
• Will distinguish organisations with their own budget from those financed inside a larger government budget.

What it does not do

• Is not limited to one country or one tier of government.
• Has no website, no data and no launch date yet.
• Is not part of any cross-repository link yet.
